An evidenced based introduction to surgical hand antisepsis using MICROSHIELD® Antiseptic Hand Rub Solution and MICROSHIELD® 4% Chlorhexidine and PVP Povidone-Iodine.
Provides a practical and focused guide to Surgical Hand Antisepsis including types of hand hygiene in the perioperative setting. The course addresses surgical hand antisepsis principles, objectives and technique taking into consideration associated guidelines, peak body recommendations and manufacturer’s recommendations for use for MICROSHIELD® 4% Chlorhexidine, PVP- Povidone Iodine and Antiseptic Rub Solution. Complete this training at work or at home on a variety of devices including computers, tablets and smart phones.
This course consists of one module with 5 topics, a short test where you need 11 out of 12 questions correct to pass and this contributes 45 minutes towards your continued professional development upon completion of this course.
